A Good Time with Sojourners

I got lost, once again, going to our first Sojourners gathering of the year. The church group got a late start, but we finally got together. Yesterday, Robert realized that he wouldn't be going! He flew to Fresno for business, so I went alone. Could have used him telling me I wasn't driving up the hill on Broadway....but a call to Cookie got me headed to their place.
Here are the roasted zucchinis waiting to be put into the pasta sauce. I loved them.

Host, Bob Neighbor, likes to make and drink martinis. I decided I had better pass since I was driving around the hills all around the medical school and needed my wits about me on the way home. I had wine, though. Not to worry.
The Bombay Sapphire Gin was a gift Bob received from his daughter. I should have tried it....

The point of Sojourners is to meet people you don't know who go to our church so you recognize more people when attending church or other functions, plus you get to know people in a relaxed setting. Here is Louise. I liked her right off.

Bob Hadlow had lots of fascinating stories to share about his travels abroad and work with ODOT.
Here is my salad and hostess Bob's yummy pasta dish. It was perfect.
I recognized some paintings on the wall as from Alaska. Two were by Rie Munoz.
Here is Louise's husband, Steve Urch. I love these bar desserts.
