First Day in Tucson

Last night we returned home from Tucson at 10:30, so today I am busy washing clothes, determining what I need to buy for my trip to Manhattan tomorrow, and going to get my hair done, etc. There won't be much posted here, most likely, until my return from New York. I am going there for plays, tours and going places on my own. Robert stays home and works!

Robert, Lee Ann and I left Friday to check out SaddleBrooke, where Tom and Pam K. live from November to May. We know them from Salem. They were beyond gracious - taking us around to see the area, feeding us wonderful food, playing golf, etc. You will see many pictures here of our trip and of them.
Here are pictures of their place:

From the Tucson airport, we headed to SaddleBrooke to Pam and Tom's desert home. It is the Sante Fe, or Territorial style.

Their living room.
We helped Pam clean out her freezer by eating wonderful meals in their lovely home. They are heading home to Salem Thursday.

Robert and Tom are planning when to play golf.

They have one of the best views. This is the view from their backyard patio.
