First Full Day In Manhattan

Tavern on the Green is a huge restaurant in Central Park that is set up to feed large tour groups for breakfast. Here are two buses full of Break Away clients. They have other rooms for intimate dining, wedding parties, etc. It is a lovely place to wander around taking pictures....

It rained quite a bit as we toured Manhattan in our bus.We are going up to a viewing window to see the twin towers site.

The 9/11 site.

Here is a memorial for the eleven employees killed at an office; their names surround the piece.

In the evening, Karen and I ate nearby at the Brooklyn Diner before walking to the theatre.

I had eaten half my delicious chicken soup before taking a picture....

Waiting for the play November to start. Seen here is Chris Coleman, Artistic Director for Portland Center Stage. He flew to NYC with us but stayed because he was casting Guys and Dolls for the kick off play for the new season in the fall.
