This is what Madison got to eat! She got a Mickey Mouse blueberry pancake.
I'll miss everyone, but especially my two sleeping partners. Sadie slept in the corner on her bed; she hardly made a sound. She will miss that when I would feed her I would put leftovers into her dry food.
When Max would wake up at 5 a.m., Scott would change him, fix his bottle and hand him off to me while he went back for some well earned sleep. Sometimes Max would stay awake, other times we both would doze off. If he started to look for milk, I would pop the bottle into his mouth. We had a system worked out.
It was rainy, yet the sun was shining when I got home. There was nothing in the refrigerator and I didn't feel like shopping and cooking after flying home, so we walked over to Bridgeport Brew Pub for dinner.
I enjoyed the "herb crusted steelhead" - organic quinoa & black beans, sauteed summer squash, smoked tomato vinaigrette.
