Saturday, Robert played golf at
PGA West as of guest of Ken Choi on the
Arnold Palmer Private Course. The wind was strong, but Robert said to have the thrill and honor to play that course he would play it in a snow storm, so he wasn't complaining. While he did that I walked around The
River Shopping Mall across the street and had won ton soup at PF Chang's, followed by laying in the sun. We decided to order two appetizers each at the new bluEmber at our resort. The prices were high and the services extremely slow, but the setting was stunning.
Steve Madaio played trumpet and we liked him so much we even bought his CD,
Midnight Rendezvous. I just wish that the young singer with him this night was on his CD. The young man had a great voice .
When we ordered it was light out and the nearby flowers looked great. When the food came, we wished we had flashlights or camping lanterns. Service was beyond slow.
Robert selected
Orecchiette "Mad & Cheese" Duck Confit, Port Wine Onions, Wild Mushrooms.I enjoyed the
Seared Sea Scallops - Chanterelles, Pear Tomatoes, Pea Puree. It was rich, but I ordered Four Herb Gnocchi, Mediterranean Vegetables
Robert had
Blue Crab Bisque with a Crab Canape.
