Last Day Here for the KIDS

Scott and Shana requested that we go buy some pastries for their final breakfast, so Robert, Madison and I went to the Bakery at the Bridgeport Brewery and picked out the ones you see below. The oddball shapes are the two quarters left from the pastry below this one (we took out our share before we sat down). I think the best ones were the lemon ones we got that are on the top right corner with lemon curd in the center. Bottom left corner had great chocolate inside them. Now that I think about it, they all were good!

On our way back we walked by Via Delicia. Robert claimed they had pastry and he was right. It is made right there on the premises. This one had cherries.

Aren't these boys cute!
On the way back home from the airport, I witnessed an accident. The two cars ahead of me just kept going. I pulled over, asked if the wronged driver wanted me as a witness. YES, was the answer. I got out. Took some pictures, then the distraught woman driver got her camera out after seeing me. I learned that the young driver HAD a drivers license, he just didn't have it WITH him. I explained that to the woman and her husband. I had heard her saying loudly prior to this, "You don't have a license!! You don't have insurance!!" The kid did have insurance. I explained that to the man. The kid was on the phone to his mother..... He went through the stop sign at 9th and Glisan. I think from now on he won't leave home without his license or proof of insurance, IF he even gets to drive again!
