I agreed to let
RDH Building Sciences Inc. come and cut a hole in our wall to check for moisture as a part of the Pinnacle Building "envelope" test. If something is wrong, then the board has to figure out what is still under warranty and what isn't and get everything fixed. We don't want to be like some condos that discover that they have a mold problem or structural issues. I just got on the board last month, so don't really know what it is all about. I just often have a sense of duty and this time it caused me volunteer to let them do their testing on our wall below a window. I think only 5 people gave them the okay.
They did come prepared with tools for the job and for cleaning up.
Yep, this is where they wanted to be.
The outside wall is being probed to check for moisture. None found!
A picture is being taken of a level measuring our deck, I guess to see if the slope is enough to drain water.
Attractive isn't it? Eventually the area will be patched "to my satisfaction". I am quoting myself. That was my deal when I agreed to this.
