Boy, these paperwhites(narcissus) smelled good. At least, that is what I think they were.
We socialized before dinner, and then after dinner we had our discussion on the book for the month.
Peggy was a bit heavy with the paprika, she claimed, on her broccoli cheese casserole, but it just made it taste better. Really.I lead the discussion on Water for Elephants. There were different themes to discuss, reviews to quote and opinions to be made. We all liked the book. I brought along a few extra things to make it special (I thought). I played music from an actual circus band before and during dinner, we looked at an art book with circus pictures by Toulouse-Lautrec I found at the library.
