Madison ate leftovers while her parents ate out.
Scott and Shana ate dinner at Ten 01 a restaurant near Powells on 10th and Couch where Scott had read about the new dessert chef whose blog I ran across. They had a great meal and enjoyed their waiter who had the dessert chef, Jeff McCarthy, come out and speak with them. He fixed up a box of goodies for us to eat on their return. This is the outrageously fabulous bread pudding they brought home! Scott knew how to put it together for us. The moat around it was a kind of caramel sauce with blood orange slices.
Candies made by Jeff at restaurant Ten 01. Scott and Shana brought these home for us to split in half and enjoy while we planned to eat there next time out and about.
