The luncheon was good, a huge piece of chicken with a tomato sauce on top, carrots and cauliflower and orzo rice. I ate it up before I even thought of my camera, so all you get to see is the frozen dessert.

EF Auction at Multnomah Athletic Club
The Portland Branch of AAUW had its annual Educational Foundation Luncheon and Auction at the MAC Club Saturday. Nancy Thomas was the Chairperson, who introduced the great entertainment. Ellen Rice and Kathleen Kuba performed a readers theater reading from three women authors - Amy Tan who wrote a funny piece about her angst in high school and keeping her parents in the dark as to what was really going on. Joyce Maynard wrote about writing names and omitting names when filling up a new address book. Judith Viorst had an alphabet for the older set.

The luncheon was good, a huge piece of chicken with a tomato sauce on top, carrots and cauliflower and orzo rice. I ate it up before I even thought of my camera, so all you get to see is the frozen dessert.
