Race For The Cure

I woke up at 7:30 a.m. to the sound of drums beating near the Broadway Bridge to inspire the first runners doing the 5K run in the Race For The Cure. I put on my bathrobe and took some pictures and then prepared to go down and cheer on the 50,000 walkers and runners who were taking part in the huge, fundraising. spirit lifting event. I waved my pink satin scarf for 1 and 1/2 hours.

Lawyer Margie Schroeder, from Robert's office, got some help along the way with getting her special running stroller tires inflated. She was lucky that there was a bike rider right in front of our condo where she saw me and asked if I had a tire pump. He had one!
