Robert and I heard Katharine speak Friday night and then give the sermon at the 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock services today at Trinity Cathedral. [We attended both services!!] We both became choked up when the procession of many clergy walked by behind the fabulous choir, but seeing Bishop Schori was the best ever!! See is a brilliant, caring bishop who just happens to be the first woman to hold such a position. When she was selected, not too long ago, friends handed out pins that said, "It's A Girl!" She graduated from our Alma Mater, Oregon State University, in Oceanography, with a Ph.D. before going to seminary.
