Coming home from the beach, Robert decided that we should stop in Dundee at one of the places that he has noticed when traffic just crawls though that little town. Sunday, around 2 pm, traffic was great and we stopped at Calamity Jane's to check it out. The place can hold a great deal of people, but yesterday it wasn't too crowded. I ordered their Sunday special of chicken and dumplings. They came with beans and potatoes (didn't need that added starch from potatoes). The boy who brought out my plate evidently forgot the coleslaw because our waitress noticed it was missing. She never brought it out, but we did get it "to go".
Robert ordered the Tombstone hamburger that had hot, hot condiments. He liked it. It is a good sign if his nose runs.
We recommend that place if you are hungry when you are near Dundee for a hamburger. They had at least 30 types! If you are dressed up in western attire you will fit in with the restaurant's decor.
