"Crawdaddy's " on Central Coast near Depoe Bay

We went to eat at Crawdaddy's for the first time. It is between Gleneden Beach and Depoe Bay. They have been open since March I think I heard them say. On the Sunday, when we were there they were out of gator (no loss for me) and oysters (a loss for Robert). Apparently, gator is a popular order. We later learned they were out of pecan pie, too. I bet it is good.

We first asked for one order of the beignets. Soon we heard the cook yell, "Beignets up!!" But our waitress was taking care of a large party. I nearly went up to get the order and I should have. When the bartender (and I think owner) finally brought them over they were COLD. So, if you go there and order them, instruct the waitress (and co-owner) to bring them to the table immediately after they are done. When they are cold the grease is very evident. Too much powered sugar on them, also, but it taps off. My son Scott's beignets are better.

We had three on the plate. Once again, I am chewing before photographing.
This was painted on one of the walls. Note the blow-up gator on the top of the wall.

The drink in the foreground is Robert's Voodoo Bloody Mary, too hot for me. Mine, background, was given to him by mistake; you can see how it looks like plain tomato juice. It was too mild. I am hard to please, what can I say?

My jambalaya. I liked it.
Here are some of the crawdads (aka crayfish) Robert had.
Our shared berry cobbler. They "don't do ala mode"!! Wha'! It needed ice cream.
