Portland Rose Festival's Grand Floral Parade

We used to see the Rose Festival's Grand Floral Parade in seats right where the parade comes out of the coliseum and is filmed for television. The bands play right when they start out, so that is great. The last few times it had rained so it wasn't as fun as it could have been. We weren't going to watch the parade until we got an invitation to join people at The Union Bank of California on Broadway Ave.
We got there in plenty of time so we could get a good seat. The bank provided food and drink, games for kids in the bank lobby. Colorful balloons filled the area and were given to kids to take home (or lose and watch float up, up and away!). The weather was good, which hardly any sprinkles.

I wish I qualified to be in the One More Time Around Marching Band and drill team, but I never was in one. They have a blast. Lucky for me, the played Louie Louie when they came by. I was the ONLY person standing up dancing around (in place). What is the matter with people today!!?? I was too busy dancing to take a picture until the last second....
