George Happ and his wife, Nan, joined us as guests at John and Dace's beach place for dinner. We brought appetizers, Happs brought salad and John made his wonderful cioppino, cheese bread and brownies. The guys had played golf earlier.
I loved Nan's salad. The secret was the dressing. It had some pesto, shallots, garlic, oil and vinegar. The rest, I don't know, but that would get you close.
John's cioppino was perfect.
John likes to make chocolate brownies. They are frosted and with ice cream on top, you can't beat them for a great ending to a wonderful meal.
