The delightful librarian storyteller, with her wonderful Spanish accent, read to us all Llama Llama Red Pajama, here, and other books.
After the library stop we went to the Channel Club, a new location, design and menu for a former restaurant. The view would have been great except the snow shortened it a bit. I ordered a Stella Artois beer ( the light colored one ) and the soup and salad bar for my lunch.
A great vegetable beef soup.
While in Portland, I opened up a chocolate bar from the Theobroma Chocolate Company when we were in Sitka for Christmas and discovered I had a "golden ticket" worth $50.00. So, today I drove there while the kids napped and Scott worked on a project and bought myself some "seconds" and a few chocolate bars. Not so good if you are on a diet.
