Soup, Art and New Friends

My new friend, Kathy (a.k.a. Kate, and Kat) here on the right, invited me over for soup and, if I wished, to help her friends hang some pictures in her condo down the hall from me. Rebecca and Richard Duncan were great fun and I need to get to know them better.

Kat is a well-known cook within her circle of friends (which is broadening), reported Rebecca. This is one of her "stone soups" where she just twirls around in her kitchen putting this and that into the soup pot. This original effort was perfect for a wintery day.

The picture is a lovely bathroom scene and it now has a perfect spot over the tub.
Okay, I shouldn't have used my flash, but it is a great piece.

What a sweet picture to have over a bed.

Don't you love these colorful jars? Makes me think of crayons crossed with a thermos.

These ladies will watch over Kate's bookgroup when they gather in her living room.
This was hung in the dining area.
All the oils were done by an artist friend from California.
