The band was set up, the tables ready, the huge lights overhead. The setting was a studio on NW Upsur where commercials are filmed. They had make-up and green room, signs alerting people to be quiet and stay out if the red light was on, etc. It was all fun and the band,
Slam, was great. Food was by
Devil's Food Catering and better than I've had at any such function. It was comfort food at its best. Robert's law firm,
Black Helterline, had a successful holiday party!

John Hirschy was at the microphone first to say some kind words.

Then Robert presented retiring Lew Hampton with a token of appreciation.

Boy this was good. A pot roast type meat, shrimp, potatoes and brussel sprouts. Trust me, it was SO good!
