Down In The Mouth

I have had quite a week. Last weekend, my right jaw and teeth hurt. Monday, I called my dentist, Mary Kay Schwab, and found out she had jury duty and couldn't see anyone, but she saw me early Tuesday morning wondering if maybe the tooth below the upper molar, she is soon to repair with a new crown, needed a root canal. She sent me to a great specialist - Dr.Kevin Edwards - who is an Endodontist. (Endodontist - sounds like a better title for a Proctologist, ha, ha.) He soon enough determined that my lower molar needed work(root canal). He did a great job, but the ibuprofen I took gave me a horrid stomach ache. Researching in a book I had, I determined that my 30 years of tummy problems could, in part, be caused by taking NSAIDs.
Saturday, driving to Corvallis, I felt sleepy, then suddenly ill, but managed to take the Salem exit and turn off so I could lie down in the car. Robert then drove on to Corvallis while I took it easy at my mother's place in Salem. So, what is going on? Related to my tooth? Do I have a virus? The flu? Stomach problems? I feel better now, but not perfect.
Tomorrow, I go in for the last part of the root canal work. But why does my throat hurt now and why do I have bumps under my tongue. I watch House on tv and know sometimes we think the answer is one thing, when it is another.
