Max Holden Donaldson, our first grandson, was born today in Sitka, Alaska at 12:11 p.m. our time (11:11 a.m. their time). He weighed in at 9 pounds 6 oz.. 21 inches long. Red hair and blue eyes. They had him start drinking from his mama before they even weighed him. Shana did well; had basically no painkiller except something that lasted 20 minutes. After 1 hour and 45 min. of pushing, out he came. Scott, the proud papa, took this picture.
