What A Scary Day For Our Children

First, Scott called with horrific news and then Lee Ann called me to say that her car broke down on Hwy 205 on the way to the airport while driving Jared to catch his flight home to Minneapolis. I drove to exit 3 where Jared and Lee Ann were waiting in a huge tow truck Lee Ann procured through AAA. Thank goodness she kept that bit of insurance up. She went with the tow truck and I took Jared to the airport.

But the big news is what happened next to Scott, Madison, parents-in-law Chester and Benita as they prepared to eat lunch in Sitka, Alaska at a nice little cafe titled Lane 7. The people in the ill-fated airplane were :pilot, the pilot's fiancee and his two children. We are so grateful that our family was spared.
