We Pick Up Shana and Head to Washougal and Beach

Son Scott and baby Madison arrived a day before Shana for a week long visit. The two of them will go to Pensacola for a week where Shana soon will be taking a 6 weeks class. After that, they return to see us for a while, then return home to Sitka. We picked Shana up at the airport on Saturday and went directly to my brother's and Grete's home in Washougal. Madison loved playing in the little pond area Steve made on their property. He placed rocks around to make a small wading pool. Madison also enjoyed playing the piano (she has many skills). My mother was there and cousins were to arrived for a picnic, but we only saw cousin David before we left at 3:30 and headed to the coast, where auntie Lee Ann joined us. We visited the playground area at Bella Beach and then strolled around basking in the sun on a perfect day. It was a good thing we left Washougal when we did, as Madison hit the wall early evening. She didn't take her usual long noontime nap because she had better things to do, but it caught up with her....
