Friday, I spent a lot of time figuring out which movie to see at the Living Room Theater near Powells off Burnside on10th St.. It was packed when we got there around 5:40 pm. Turns out the theater our movie, Climates, was to be shown in was reserved for a private viewing of another film. For awhile they thought the group would be using just one theater, but they took over two areas. The management was very good to us and gave us four complimentary tickets to use in the future. One movie I decided not to see there was a Scottish film, Late Night Shopping. You can go through a book (see Robert) and read up on the many movies they have on the bill. On the way home we stopped off at Videorama and rented it to watch. We enjoyed it.The menu at the Living Room Theater is excellent. We enjoyed our appetizers and wine during happy hour. We had planned to order more to be brought to us in the theater. That will have to happen another time. It was suggested to call first to make sure of movie showing times and availability.
