These pictures don't do the Living Desert justice. We enjoyed it better than the San Diego Zoo. Less hectic or crowded. There is even a large area with toy trains in different environments. Any train buff would enjoy it. We attended a show where hawks and owls flew right over our heads onto the stage area, mice ran along a rail, parrots misbehaved and a porcupine went through his paces.
